The Occupational Safety and Health Administration may fine the Chicago Construction Company of Endicott about $4700 dollars in penalties after Keith Totten of Port Crane was critically injured when he was run over by a bulldozer at a job site in Binghamton. Totten sustained leg, hip and pelvis injuries in the incident, He spent 70 days in the hospital.

The Unatego Booster Club & The local Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will hold the 1st annual Alec Pitel Memorial: sprinting For the Spartan’s walk & run on Sunday. Booster Club Spokesperson Kathy Newman said that Pitel was a founding member of the Booster club when he was a student & he passed away earlier this year after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease:

The Sanfilippo Smash 7 will be held this Saturday & Sunday at the Otsego County Fairgrounds in Morris. This annual charity derby to looks to raise money for Sanfilippo Syndrome and research and development of a cure and to assist families with supplies and support.
