The next 24-48 hours will bring periods of rain, heavy at times to the Tri-County area and the Northeast.  A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of Central New York and Northeast Pennsylvania this evening through Friday Night.  While it is expected that there may be numerous issues on the small streams and creeks throughout our area, the rivers ARE expected to STAY WITHIN THEIR BANKS.   You can always keep an eye on the rivers in the area with our river gages, located at WCDORadio.com.  Here is the latest briefing from the National Weather Service for this storm.
