New York led the nation in yogurt production for the 2nd straight year, according to Governor Cuomo.   The state produced 741 million pounds of yogurt in 2013, an increase of 46 million pounds from the previous year’s total, beating out California by about 150 million pounds.   New York accounted for 15.7% of the country’s yogurt production.

The Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held last night, and the ground breaking is expected today, for the new skateboard park at Keith Clark Park in Sidney.   Ronnie Haag of the Sidney Youth Advocate program told WCDO News what the time-line is for the grand opening:
