The Chenango county sheriff’s department arrested 19-year-old Amanda Sgroi of Norwich, on an active bench warrant from Norwich city court, for failure to appear to the sheriff’s office to begin weekend sentences. Sgroi was arraigned in town of Norwich court & was remanded to the county jail; she will appear in Norwich court at a later date to answer to the latest charges.

The chenango county sheriff’s department arrested 29-year-old Wendy Hackett of Norwich on an active bench warrant issued by Chenango county family court. Hackett was remanded to the Chenango county jail to begin a 60-day sentence.
