Yesterday, members of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office recovered an unidentified human body off of the Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia. The unidentified female body was taken to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office in Syracuse for an autopsy. Sheriff Cutting announced that the identity of the female body is unknown to investigators and the investigation is continuing”. The Delaware county sheriff’s department investigated a 1-car accident on highway 16 in the town of Delhi on February 17th. 42-year old Lynn Doughtery of Delhi lost control on icy roads, left the roadway & struck a tree. Doughtery was treated at O’Connor hospital, no tickets were issued.
