State Police arrested 3 people for manufacture and possession of methamphetamine after a search of a Johnson City residence lead to the discovery of a meth lab. Police arrested 22 year old Joshua Diaz 20 year old Desiree Buckley & 16 year old Stanley Conklin, all from Johnson City, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance; Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamines, and other charges related to the possession and use of a controlled substance. All three subjects arraigned in the Village of Johnson City Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail.

Otsego County will host four public forums between November and February where farmers can speak directly to the Otsego County Farmland Protection Plan Committee regarding the 2014 update to the Otsego County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan. The 1st forum will be tonight at 6:30 at the Burlington Baptist Church, 2225 St Hwy 80, Burlington, other meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, December 17 at the Otego Town Building, Wednesday, January 14 at the Richfield Community Center, and Wednesday February 18 at the Town of Worcester Town Building.
