The FAA will investigate the crash of a small airplane just a few miles after taking off from Sidney airport Sunday night. State police said that the pilot was David Rolfe, who left the Sidney airport at around 8:30 PM Sunday, he crashed near Thorpe Hill Road, Rolfe survived the crash & was taken to Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 57 year old Donna Hamilton of Massachusetts for 2nd degree Harassment. The charges stem from an incident at a restaurant in the Town of Hamden, where Hamilton was upset that another customer at the restaurant was taking pictures of her child with her cell phone, she asked the woman to stop, and to delete them off of her phone, the woman refused, And Hamilton allegedly struck the woman. Hamilton was given an appearance ticket to the Hamden Town Court at a later date.
