Autopsies were conducted Monday on Tifanne Wells, the manner of her death to be a homicide caused by 2 gunshot wounds. The autopsy on George Jones ruled the manner of his death to be a suicide as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. State Police stated that the investigation is continuing, it is believed that the timing of the incident was late in the afternoon of Saturday March 7th, at the couple’s residence in the town of Oneonta.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a 1 car property damage auto accident in the Town of Walton. Deputies arrested 55 year old Richard Wood of Walton for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. He was issued traffic summons for Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. He was arraigned in the Town of Sidney Court and remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $2,500 cash bail pending future court action in the Town of Walton Court at a later date.

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives in Norwich today. One blood drive will be from 11:30 to 4:30 PM at Chenango Memorial Hospital, another will be held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the SUNY Morrisville Norwich campus in Follet Hall.
