39-year-old Esteban Valdes of Binghamton has been charged with aggravated criminal contempt, felony tampering with physical evidence, felony second-degree assault and felony grand larceny in the fourth degree, after Binghamton Police responded to the report of a stabbing. Valdes is accused of stabbing his wife, she was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Valdes was arraigned & was sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
