The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for 26-year-old Michelle Gonzalez; she was located on Silver Street in the City of Norwich and found to be in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and cash. Further investigation led to the recovery of additional crack cocaine, heroin, and several illegally possessed prescription medications. Gonzalez was charged with 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance; she was arraigned in the City of Norwich Court and sent to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail. Additional charges and arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
