The Chenango County sheriff’s department is continuing the investigation into the death of 36-year-old Jennifer Ramsaran of New Berlin, who was reported missing in December, and whose body was found in the town of Pharsalia on February 26th. Investigators are waiting for the results of an autopsy conducted in Onondaga County, anyone with information about Ramsaran’s 2006 Chrysler minivan around December 11th, can call 337-1924.

State troopers arrested 24-year-old Zachary Dufton of Hancock for operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident at the exit ramp of state route 17 in Hancock. Dufton will appear in Hancock court on April 17th to answer to the charges.

The Bainbridge Guilford central school district board of education will hold their next meeting later today. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm in the district conference room; the business portion of the meeting will begin at 7:30 PM.
