The 2nd Otsego County Economic Development Summit will be held today at the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta from 7:00 AM to Noon.  State Senator Jim Seward hosts the event in cooperation with the Otsego County IDA, Otsego County Development Corporation, Otsego County Chamber of Commerce and Citizens’ Voice. Time Warner Cable subscribers in the Oneonta area will be able to view the summit on local cable channel 23.  A live webcast link will be available on Senator Seward’s website, senatorjimseward.com.

The New York Department of State today announced more than $2 million in Appalachian Regional Commission grant awards to 15 regional economic development projects in the Southern Tier. This year’s Recipients include the Southern Tier East Regional Planning and Development Board, Broome County: Southern Tier Regional Farmers Market & the Southern Tier Network Marketing.
