The results of the Otsego County Conservation Association’s “What’s In Our Water?” program are in and, the overall quality of Otsego County’s drinking water is very good. The report also results in a strong baseline of the water chemistry by which contamination can be detected. The full will be unveiled and made available to the public at the Otsego Lakes Festival on Saturday, July 12 at Lakefront Park in Cooperstown.

The Chenango Arts Council’s Kids Summer Art Camp for students going into 5th grade and up, begins today, taught by Matthew Wilson, who is a Norwich Middle School Art Teacher and owner of Wilson Ceramics. The Camp is sponsored by NBT Bank, Golden Artist Colors and Chobani, and meets in Room 107 at the Chenango Arts Council facilities at 27 West Main Street, Norwich.

The Oneonta parks & recreation committee will meet this evening. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM at the Common Council Chambers in City hall; the common council will meet next on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in city hall.
