The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Delaware County will hold an energy Symposium tomorrow at Suny Delhi. The event will be held in Catskill Hall from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, topics include: Efficiency and Savings, heating with wood pellets, new technologies for home and business with solar thermal, solar-voltaic and small wind turbines, the Grass Pellet Demonstration Project, & funding opportunities. There will be tours of the energy projects on the Delhi Campus and of the new green/sustainable construction at Sidney Federal Credit Union in Delhi. More information is available at 865-6531.

The Sidney Central School Observatory will be open Tonight, from 8:30-10:00PM. Featured attractions will be Jupiter and the Moon. Several telescopes will be available for viewing, including the main scope inside the dome. This event is open to the public, and admission is free. This session will be run by Sidney High Astronomy students. The Observatory is located behind the high school building. Please drive past the main entrance of the new gymnasium.

A Tuscan Italian feast fundraiser will be held tomorrow from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Sidney VFW, to benefit the Delaware valley humane society. The cost will be $10.00 per person; children under 5 will eat free. A Chinese auction is also scheduled.

The 5th Annual Free Computer Recycling Day will be held tomorrow from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, at the Red Door Church on the corner of Main and Walling in Oneonta.
