A Town of Sidney woman was arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office on an active Arrest Warrant for Criminal Sale Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession Controlled Substance. 34 year old Amber Chesebro was arraigned and is being held on $30,000 cash bail in the Chenango County Correctional Facility.

On Thursday morning Delaware County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested and charged a Walton area Sex Offender with a felony violation the New York State Sex Offender Registration Act. 46 year old Dennis Henderson voluntarily surrendered to the Sheriff’s Office and was charged with failing to submit an updated photograph to the Sex Offender Registry within 20 days of his registration anniversary. Henderson was arraigned in Town of Delhi Court and was released on recognizance pending further court action.

A Town of Greene resident was arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office for Forgery and Conspiracy. 26 year old Muriel Davis was charged with 3rd degree Forgery 3rd and 6th degree Conspiracy, for allegedly depositing a counterfeit check to the NBT Bank, she & 1 other subject then withdrew the full amount of the counterfeit check deposited. Davis was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Greene Court at a later date.
