36 year old Spencer Gransbury of Walton pleaded guilty to Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, in Delaware County Court Tuesday, Gransbury admitted that he downloaded a photograph of a child approximately ten years old engaged in sexual conduct. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a Cybertip of child sex abuse material being viewed with a phone, which was traced to Gransbury, he was sentenced to 10 years felony probation with sex offenders’ terms and conditions, he is banned from entering any place that children congregate, and all of his devices will also be subjected to monitoring by the Delaware County Probation Department, he will also be required to register as a sex offender for at least 20 years.

18 year old Armony Murphy of Endicott was sentenced to 6 years in State Prison followed by 5 years of post-release supervision for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree yesterday in Broome County Court. On August 18, 2024, Murphy engaged in a verbal altercation with residents of 6 Catherine Street in Binghamton, she fired multiple rounds at the residents and the house.

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was re-elected to another term in the US Senate in November, today, she discussed her legislative priorities and goals for the 119th Congress:

Toyota acquired The Raymond Corporation in 2001. This ongoing unification will allow TMHNA to leverage the unique strengths of both organizations to be more efficient for the benefit of both Toyota and Raymond customers, no job losses are anticipated.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies observed a vehicle with equipment issues in Walton, they conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the occupants, 37-year-old Aaron Howard, 36-year-old Courtney Condon and 75-year-old Joan Howard, all of Walton. Aaron Howard and Courtney Condon had an active full stay away order of protection in place, protecting Joan Howard from them. Deputies charged Joan Howard with Obstructing Governmental Administration and Facilitating Aggravated Unlicensed Operator. Condon was charged with Criminal Contempt, Aaron Howard was charged with Criminal Contempt and Obstructing Governmental Administration, Aggravated Unlicensed Operator & a number of other lesser traffic violations. All 3 were processed and released on appearance tickets for the Village of Walton Court at a later date.

Binghamton Police arrested 21-year-old Joziah Worthington of Endicott Tuesday, for the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Qualyn Terry last February in Binghamton. Worthington was charged with 2nd degree Murder and 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Worthington was arraigned in Broome County Court on Tuesday, and taken to the Broome County Jail, Police say the investigation is still ongoing.

State Police are reminding area residents to lock up their car doors when their vehicles are unattended, and never leave valuables in plain sight inside a vehicle. Currently, police are investigating a number of vehicle robberies in the Southern Tier Counties, in many cases, windows are smashed to get at visible valuables.
